At the beginning of the year 2013, Shingo Tsuji, President and CEO of the Mori Building Co., Ltd. stated the new year's address as follows;

Both Japan and the world will face new challenges in 2013. The leaders of the world's most powerful countries have been decided, and Japan has also launched a new administration. The world is now poised to take a new first step under its new leaders and governing frameworks.

Although the new administration in Japan is likely to enact a variety of economic programs, a full-scale restoration of Japan's position will require the country to be actively involved with the forces of growth and economic power in the world, particularly in Asia. For this purpose, it is necessary to regenerate the city of Tokyo, the foundation and heart of Japanese economic activity, as an attractive metropolis that is highly resistant to disaster.

The life, purpose, and growth of Mori Building are all dedicated to this goal. We will continue to work for reliable on-schedule completion of the projects that are in progress in areas that are most suitable for an international city center. We will also actively carry out area management in order to boost the attraction and value of each area as a whole, and work to identify new business opportunities. 10 years from now, it will be clear to any observer that the areas which we are strategically developing now have become the core of a true international city.

This year, we at Mori Building will continue to do what we do best, aiming to make this year one in which the tracks for future success are laid and everyone gets a good start out of the starting blocks.

"Do what we do best." Mori Building understands clearly the path that we will take to becoming the only company of our kind in the world. All that is left is for everyone to travel it.
