Azabudai Hills

Azabudai Hills

Innovative Multi-purpose Development will Create a City-within-a-city Full of Greenery The concept of the Azabudai Hills is a "MODERN URBAN VILLAGE"; it aims to be a huge open space at the heart of Tokyo filled with lush greenery that will bring people closer together and build a new community. The project will seamlessly weave offices, residences, a hotel, an international school, retail shops, restaurants and cultural facilities into the fabric of everyday life, encompassing work, learning, recreation, interaction and relaxation. This visionary project also aims to create "a city within a city", which will constitute the "Hills of the future" by utilizing past experiences in the Hills-series of redevelopments. After spending 30 years on discussing and planning this project, under construction since August 2019 and now open in the city center. Mori Building enhances the magnetism of Tokyo by developing and nurturing the city together with local people.

Toranomon Hills

Toranomon Hills

Expanding and Evolving as an New International Hub and Global Business Center Starting with Mori Tower, completed in 2014 through integral development with Loop Road No.2, Toranomon Hills has expanded and evolved in a rapid speed with the completion of Business Tower (2020), Residential Tower (2022) and Station Tower (2023). The Toranomon Hills has been expanded to 7.5ha and total floor space of 800,000m². The area aims to become a new international hub and global business center as a mixed-use complex integrated with urban infrastructures such as road and subway, with an impact comparable to that of Mori Building's epoch-making Roppongi Hills.

Roppongi Hills

Roppongi Hills

Artelligent City Cultivating Open-minded People Roppongi Hills, Japan's largest-ever urban redevelopment when it opened, revolutionized the concepts and the paradigms of city making. The aim was the creation of a new Cultural Heart for Tokyo, where humanity, culture, interaction and vision could flourish. We strengthened this initiative by including the Mori Arts Center, a cultural complex comprising an art museum, observation deck, private club and educational facilities, on the upper floors of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.
Thereafter, by continuously deepening our ties with local people through town management aimed at integrally managing Roppongi Hills, the complex has remained—20 years after its opening in 2003—a focal point for urban activities that encompass global players and attract more than 40 million visitors annually. With every year, Roppongi Hills continues to grow in stature and maturity, adding exponentially to its magnetic attraction.

ARK Hills

ARK Hills

24 hour multipurpose city complex: the starting point of the creation of cities by Mori Building ARK Hills, which celebrated its twentieth birthday in 2006, was Japan's first large-scale private redevelopment project incorporating office and residential functions with a host of other facilities including a hotel and a concert hall. The concept of a mixed-use, compact city finally came to fruition in 1986, after seventeen years of labor, and was the forerunner of all subsequent Hills projects, which are based on the principles of bringing work and residences in closer proximity, promoting the arts, and fostering the coexistence of the city and nature. At the time of completion, many international financial institutions new to Japan located their offices in the office tower, Japan's first "intelligent" building. ARK Hills was soon recognized as Tokyo's premiere international finance center. Still today, the office tower enjoys a high occupancy rate and remains one of Tokyo's most prestigious addresses.

Atago Green Hills

Atago Green Hills

A new urban complex that effectively uses the existing landscape Here the office and residence towers blend beautifully with the natural beauty, tradition and culture of their Mt. Atago site. Visually they function as the gate to Seishoji, the Buddhist temple centered between them. Designed by world-renowned architect Cesar Pelli, their exteriors evoke the shapes of lotus blossoms.
Forest Tower residents enjoy the spa with gym and swimming pool located on the top floor. Tower residences include furnished serviced apartments for short-term stays as well as long-term rental units.

Omotesando Hills

Omotesando Hills

Media Ship: An ark transmitting cultural information to create a new future The Dojunkai Aoyama Apartments that formerly stood on the site of Omotesando Hills were a symbol of the cultural lifestyle of the early Showa Era. The redevelopment was not easy. Together with the architect Tadao Ando, we considered a vision that respected the landscape of Omotesando, and harmony with the zelkova-lined Omotesando boulevard was not only maintained by the low-rise profile but also reinforced by extensive use of rooftop gardens. Omotesando Hills' six-story atrium, enclosed by a spiral ramp, echoes the slope of the boulevard outside, transforming the interior into a second Omotesando with its own array of shops. Omotesando Hills thus nurtures the memory of its historic forebearer as it grows into a landmark for a new generation.

ARK Hills Sengokuyama Mori Tower

ARK Hills Sengokuyama Mori Tower

Creating a Vertical Garden City, safe and comfortable ARK Hills Sengokuyama Mori Tower, completed in August 2012 as a new symbol of the ARK Hills area, has a 47-story high-rise building in the core, and 8-floor residential building in the south area. It was born as a driver of further development while inheriting the history and assets of this area rich in internationality and culture. It is a safe and secure neighborhood to live in that will extend into the future to the generation of our grandchildren.

Motoazabu Hills

Motoazabu Hills

"Forest City" A Model Urban Housing Project A large-scale residential project in Motoazabu, one of Tokyo's premier neighborhoods, Motoazabu Hills embodies our "Forest City" concept. The central tower rises like a giant tree, flanked by two lower towers. More than half the site is covered with greenery, and gardens planted on roofs and balconies reinforce the forest concept. This project is the quintessence of Mori Building's commitment to harmonizing city and nature. To add further to residents'comfort and enjoyment, facilities include the spa, rooftop garden, and Sky Lounge, plus bilingual concierge service available 24 hours a day. Nishimachi International School's kindergarten is also located within the Motoazabu Hills grounds.

Laforet Harajuku

Laforet Harajuku

New Dimensions in Fashion and Culture Conceived to fulfill the dual roles of offering retail space specializing in fashion and event space anchored by the Laforet Museum, Laforet Harajuku opened in 1978 and immediately became the focus of attention as a place to find leading brands, as an incubator for creators, artists and entrepreneurs, as a venue for trendsetting events and as an originator of very topical advertising. With the recent debut of Omotesando Hills, the Harajuku / Omotesando area has been given yet another fresh injection of vitality and remains Japan's premier home of fashion and style. The trendsetting influence of Laforet Harajuku, which is now commemorating four decades as one of the most recognizable landmarks of the area, also remains undimmed.

International Projects

Mori Building's Strategic Area

Major Project

Mori Building's strategic area is located in the center of Tokyo's Minato City. The area has long had an international feel to it; many foreign-minded companies gravitate here, and it hosts a large number of foreign residents. Rich in international flavors, diversity and culture, this area has extremely high potential to become a "new international hub of Tokyo".
The area beholds "ARK Hills Area" covered with greenery, where international residences, offices, ambassadors, and cultural facilities gather. "Roppongi Hills Area" is between Azabu/Hiroo's high-quality residences, and retail zone such as Akasaka. Many ambassadors and foreign companies position here as well, and after the opening of Roppongi Hills, this area has been evolving as a "cultural heart" of Tokyo. "Toranomon Hills Area" continues to evolve as a "global business hub", equipping global and comfortable business environment, and high-quality residence. When all the project within the area is completed, the area between Roppongi~Toranomon will be connected to be a "new international hub" with fresh vitality of culture, economy, and greenery. The magnetism of this city will powerfully tow Tokyo, and Japan as well.
