This new symbol in the ARK Hills area will spur further development in the district.
ARK Hills (construction completed in 1986), which lends its name to this project, was Japan's first large-scale redevelopment project undertaken by private enterprise and features offices, residences, a hotel, concert hall, and other facilities, and is the starting place for the "Hills" that realize "residences close to the workplace," "coexistence between the city and nature," and a "cultural hotspot." Since the opening of the project it has been a place where foreign companies congregate in its offices and was one of the first to offer rental housing to foreigners and thus became the international financial center of Tokyo. The ARK Hills Sengokuyama Mori Tower inherits the history and assets cultivated by ARK Hills and will spur further development in the area.

Full-scale Start of the ARK Hills Area as a True International Urban Center

Going forward, in the area and its environs Mori Building is involved in the 21 & 25 Mori Building Reconstruction Project (provisional name: ARK Hills South Tower, scheduled for completion in 2013) and the Loop Road No.2 Block III Plan (scheduled for completion in 2014), and other companies are also proceeding with a variety of development projects.
Mori Building views the completion of the ARK Hills Sengokuyama Mori Tower as a fresh start for the ARK Hills area (full-fledged start) for the future of Tokyo and Japan by making Tokyo a true international city that will serve as the headquarters for Asia, and the company will continue to promote development of the area both in terms of "development" and "management" to make ARK Hills the representative international urban center for Japan.
