This block utilizes the Steric Road System* where an underground road passes through a super high-rise multi-use building as part of a large-scale multi-use redevelopment project that is integrated with the transportation infrastructure. The super high-rise building has 52-stores above ground and is a multi-use facility featuring offices, residences, hotels, retail shops, and conference space and will be a new landmark on Tokyo's representative Symbol Street. This project will be a development primer in this area, which is the core of Tokyo's International Strategic City to not only energize the district but will also contribute to urban redevelopment and as well as redevelopment of Japan.

[About Kanjo Dainigosen]
In 2009, the Kanjo Dainigosen road project was set as an urban develpoment plan stretching 9.2 km from Shinbashi to Kandasakuma-cho, but the section from Shinbashi to Toranomon remained unrealized for a long time.
The establishment of the Steric Road System in 1989 made it possible to construct redevelpoment buildings together with roads, so an agreement on the project in this district was reached and work is progressing with the road scheduled to open to traffic in the spring of 2014.
