Three More Hotel Partnerships
Mori Building City Air Services Co., Ltd. (referred to as MCAS, is a solely owned subsidiary of Mori Building Co., Ltd. / President: Kazuhisa Shin) has recently confirmed co-operative contracts with three additional hotels (Hotel Okura Tokyo, the Westin Tokyo, and Hyatt Regency Tokyo); the number of partners has now reached a total of eight hotels and five airlines. MCAS has also introduced a mileage point service with JAL Card and ANA Card (* please refer to appendix for details).
More than 200 Passengers per Month
Following its launch in September of last year, the Narita Airline Connection Service has continually expanded its alliance partnerships with hotels and airlines and as of the end of the end of June 2010 the service has transported a total of more than 1800 passengers. The number of passengers has increased significantly from an initial 150 per month to a current total of more than 200 passengers per month in this fiscal year.
The improvement of access options between the center of Tokyo and Narita Airport is one of the most important issues in terms of the enhancement of Tokyo's international competitiveness. Among a variety of options available, helicopter is the fastest transportation option and thus it has become increasingly popular, especially amongst business executives who prioritize the value of time. Providing a door-to-door transfer service between specified areas (Minato-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Chuo-ku, Shibuya-ku, and part of Shinjuku-ku) and Akasaka / ARK Hills, the Narita Airline Connection Service can take customers from Akasaka ARK Hills, in the center of Tokyo, to Narita Airport in only 30 minutes. Shortening the distance from Tokyo to the world, the service aims to enhance the positioning of Tokyo as a global city.
