Mori Building Co., Ltd. created an exquisite model of central Nagoya, reproducing the city on a scale of 1/1000. It was created as a permanent exhibit at Nagoya Urban Institute (Kanayama-cho, Naka-ku, Nagoya) which will reopen on March 30, 2010. This permanent exhibit aims to increase people's interest in Nagoya's districts and their revitalization, and to motivate people to think about urban development in the future.

Mori Building's Unique Technology Creates a Model to Capture Districts and Landscapes with Panoramic and Objective Views
Mori Building creates model cities and uses computer graphics as tools to capture cities and landscapes with panoramic and objective views. These models and computer graphics are often used in city and landscape development planning in order to examine concrete plans or promote the understanding of concerned parties. In cooperation with Tokyo which aimed to host the 2016 Olympic and Paralympics Games, Mori Building contributed a vast model of the Tokyo metropolitan area when the IOC evaluation commission visited for an inspection in April 2009.

Open to the Public from March 30, 2010
The model city of Nagoya will be put before the public starting on March 30th at a permanent exhibit corner on the 11th floor of the Nagoya Urban Institute. Mori Building expects that many people will come to see this model city and will thereby increase their interest in revitalizing cities.
