With an aim of helping the prevention of global warming, Mori Building will again this year launch the Lights down Campaign, to switch off all the lights at our lit-up facilities including Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.

Switching-off the lights at 44 buildings reduces CO2 emissions by approx. 12 tons
Supporting the CO2 reduction / Lights Down Campaign by Ministry of Environment, which will be on between June 20 (Sat) and July 7 (Tue), Mori Building Co., Ltd. will switch off the lights during the period at our 44 facilities, where the lights in the shared areas (decorative and scenic illuminations) can be turned off.
We are expecting to, during this period, reduce the consumption of energy by approx. 30,260kWh, which leads to the reduction of the CO2 emission by approx. 12 tons (this equals to the absorption of carbon dioxide by 860 cedar trees).
We have asked to the offices and tenants shops in the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower to support the Light down Campaign by reducing the energy consumption on the days of Summer Solstice / Black Illumination 2009 (June 21 (Sun)) and Star Festival / Cool Earth Day (July 7 (Tue)).
