Designed and built by the Interiors Unit of Mori Building, the new "Akasaka Nose-en" shop at ARK Hills has received the Special Award in the 2nd AICA Shop Design Contest sponsored by AICA Kogyo Company, Limited. In this project, our Interiors Unit provided the new shop design for Akasaka Nose-en when it moved to the first floor of the ARK Mori Building in the ARK Hills complex operated by our company. For this new chapter in the long 120-year history of a tea merchant established in 1890, we focused on the concept "fusion of old and new" to create a "new tradition" combining contrasting elements such as traditional clay walls and modern glass and metal materials.

Mori Building's interior services provide comfortable and relaxed space to meet the office, commercial-facility, and residence needs of all types of tenants. For commercial facilities, we are able to provide innovative proposals that make full use of our extensive experience in large-scale projects such as Roppongi Hills and Omotesando Hills. For offices, utilizing knowhow cultivated in a wide range of projects for foreign financial institutions known for demanding top-level specifications, we are able to provide office space that enhances tenant-company productivity. In addition, to further enhance comfort, in recent years we have been actively involved in the development of our own original interior materials (for ceilings, floors, lighting, etc.) that also take into account environmental factors.
One of the strengths of Mori Building is our ability to provide interior services that respond flexibly to customer requests with comprehensive oversight covering everything from planning to design, construction, and management. In the future we will be expanding the scale of our interior service business by activity pursuing outside projects in addition to our work on Mori Building properties.
