2020 will be a "Year of Challenge and Evolution" for Mori Building.

Large-scale urban renewal projects that we have been working on for many years are finally taking shape, which will help to further interconnect our various Hills complexes and fill in the picture of our many properties, or "strategic areas." We are about to enter an all-new stage this year.

In Tokyo's Toranomon Hills area, the Business Tower will open in April and Toranomon Hills Station on the Hibiya Line will be partially open in June. Work on both the Residential Tower and the Station Tower (tentative name) continues to progress smoothly as well. Combining diverse functions and mechanisms, the area is well on its way to becoming a new international urban hub and global business center. Meanwhile, the Toranomon-Azabudai Project is coming together as a "Modern Urban Village" with its two pillars "Green" & "Wellness," ensuring that it will meet the important environmental and health-related challenges expected of future cities. Separately, we will continue to maximize our effort to develop the Roppongi 5-chome Project as another important step in urban planning for Tokyo.

Mori Building employees are poised to achieve significant personal growth as well as take on a wide variety of challenges. Our concurrent projects enable employees to accumulate diverse knowledge and experience for professional growth. Many opportunities are available to young employees as well. In this age of rapid change, when the seeds of evolution and challenge are being sown practically everywhere, it has become easier to accept challenging proposals. I encourage you to carefully consider all possible solutions, put your ideas to the test and then change what needs to be changed. It won't always be easy, but the growth and joy of achieving one's goals is like nothing else.

People who are willing to accept challenges and make changes are also people who look to the future and are motivated by curiosity. I want this kind of energy to flow in every corner of our company so that we may continue to be the unique company that Mori Building has become.
