Today, October 7, the Toranomon-Roppongi District Urban Redevelopment Association (Director: Naoko Hamada) will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the Toranomon-Roppongi District Urban Redevelopment and begin work on the project.
The target area for this redevelopment project is within the high-priority urban redevelopment area called the "Loop Road No. 2 Shimbashi Area and Akasaka-Roppongi District." Specifically, it is a 2.0 hectare area straddling Toranomon 5-Chome and Roppongi 1-Chome in the Minato Ward of Tokyo, and near Kamiyacho Station on the Hibiya Line and Roppongi Itchome Station on the Nanboku Line of the Tokyo Subway.
This area is rich in internationality and culture and is located in the "Daigaiku (Superblock)" area, which is a major spot in the capital city of Tokyo. We have contributed to city design under the concept of "life surrounded by nature in the heart of the city" since around 1989. And the combined efforts of area residents, the administration, and a developer (Mori Building) over the course of many years bore fruit, leading to the commencement of this new project.

We are aiming for completion in June 2012, and will work diligently in order to finish as soon as possible.
