Mori Building recognizes that the promotion of sustainability initiatives is a material matter related to the execution of its business operations, and has therefore established the Sustainability Committee, which is chaired by the President and CEO, and its subcommittees, the Environmental Promotion Committee and the Committee on Human Rights and Societal Issues.
The Environmental Promotion Committee and Committee on Human Rights and Societal Issues promote and manage cross-field initiatives to address their respective sustainability issues and report regularly to the Sustainability Committee.
The Sustainability Committee deliberates on material sustainability issues such as climate change, human rights, and supply chain management, and supervises and monitors subcommittees.
In addition, the Sustainability Committee reports regularly to the Board of Directors, and the Board of Directors deliberates, manages, and supervises material issues.
