The HSBC Tower incorporates a floor-by-floor air-conditioning system that enables individual control of heating and cooling for each floor. Each floor is also divided into four zones, with interior air-conditioning provided via a four-pipe system. Perimeter air-conditioning is provided by a fan coil unit system that lets tenants set heating and cooling to any desired temperature throughout the year and make adjustments for extended work hours or other circumstances.
Cooling water is supplied around the clock via four outlets on each floor, allowing tenants to install additional air-conditioning units in areas with heavy air-conditioning loads. |
