President Minoru Mori gives speech at MIPIM Asia Special Japan Tour
Minoru Mori, President of Mori Building, gave a speech on the first day of the MIPIM Asia Special Japan Tour gathering, which was held at Tokyo Midtown on November 17-18, 2008. In his speech entitled "Cross Border Developments: a Challenge for Mori Building?" Mori gave an overview of the Shanghai World Financial Center which just opened in October 2008, remarked upon plans for the city of Shanghai, and discussed Mori Building's "Vertical Garden City" concept. He also emphasized that for the future of Tokyo, it is important to make effective use of the land, both surface level and subterranean.
This conference was an international real estate fair introducing the Japanese real estate market, and it was attended by many domestic and global investors and individuals from the real estate industry.
